Deadlines for Announcements and the Order of Service

A time in our worship service is set aside for "Joys and Concerns." As a part of our worship service, this is not an appropriate time for announcements or information that is not in the realm of the heart or spirit. 

Announcements can be written and included in the printed Order of Service or spoken by the worship associate before the service. The announcement should be provided to the worship leader or associate in advance of the service. Every announcement must have a contact name and number.  This will help those interested to get more information.

Three weeks before each worship service, the minister,  music director, and religious education director confer regarding upcoming sermon topics.  

The Monday prior to the service the minister provides a draft Order of Service to the music director, RE director, and church administrator.

At the Tuesday weekly conference, the music and RE directors provide program details and specifications.

By Thursday at noon Announcements and the final Order of Service are due to the church administrator.
