Porcelain and lacquer on wood paintings. Integrating science, chemistry and art, Miles combines flash fired porcelain into the grain of wood panels. He then utilizes selected precious metals and oxides, sprayed between as many as 80 coats of hand pooled layers of lacquer. Each piece is a one of a kind and can take as long as one year to complete.
